Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 28, 2026

1. Overview

MOM is a macOS focus app that uses on-device computer vision to detect when a phone appears in your webcam frame. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you visit our website, purchase MOM, or use the app.

2. Webcam and app data

MOM processes webcam frames locally on your Mac. Frames are processed in memory to detect a phone and are discarded immediately. MOM does not save webcam frames to disk, upload frames, upload thumbnails, or upload derived image data.

MOM does not use analytics or telemetry to track your sessions, detection events, app usage, or focus behavior.

3. Information we collect

We may collect information you choose to provide, such as your email address when you contact us, request support, or ask for a refund.

If you purchase MOM, Stripe or another payment processor collects the payment and billing information needed to process the transaction. We may receive purchase-related information such as your email address, order identifier, payment status, refund status, and license status. We do not receive or store your full card number.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide downloads and licenses, validate purchases, process refunds, answer support requests, send product updates you requested, prevent abuse, and comply with legal, accounting, tax, and payment obligations.

5. Service providers

We use service providers to operate MOM and related services. This may include Stripe for payments, an email provider for support messages, hosting providers for the website, and update or license infrastructure for the app. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

6. Legal bases and retention

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform a contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and support, or with your consent.

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including support, licensing, accounting, tax, security, and legal requirements.

7. Your choices and rights

You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information we hold about you. Some information may need to be retained where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations.

8. International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

9. Children's privacy

MOM is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of MOM after an updated policy is posted means the updated policy applies.
